At PMActive, we are dedicated to providing children with the tools and skills they need to succeed in sports and in life. We offer a variety of SEND small group school holiday activity sessions.
How we can help
During the school holidays we work in partnership with Reigate and Banstead on their R & Be Active holiday programme to offer children with special education needs the opportunity to take part in sports & craft sessions. Our experienced coaches understand that every child is unique, working in small groups allows everyone to reach their full potential. Upcoming sessions are listed below, why not join us at one of our PMActive holiday sessions and watch your child's confidence, strength and skills grow!

What to expect at our sessions

SEND FOOTBALL:
Our small group football sessions are a great way to encourage children to engage in physical activities. With a maximum of 10 children and qualified football coaches, we're passionate about developing footballing skills in a fun and engaging way. We believe that children should have access to safe and enjoyable sports activities, and our sessions are designed to fulfill the needs of children with disabilities or learning difficulties. It doesn't matter if you child struggles to listen and follow instructions or needs to break away from time to time. We will work with all children to make sure they feel comfortable at the session and most importantly have fun. We play a mixture of short fun games ending with a match.

SEND CREATE & CRAFT:
We believe that crafting is not only fun, but also a great way to encourage creativity and build confidence. Led by a qualified teacher with years of special needs experience, we aim to provide age and needs appropriate activities that are both entertaining and educational. We focus on using skills such as hand eye co- ordination, fine motor movements & problem solving to spark the imagination in a fun way. This session is open to children with SEND and their siblings, we found from our own experience activities siblings can both access together is rare! With a maximum of 16 children per session, we provide enjoyable activities that the children are mostly able to complete independently, but we also encourage creativity if the children have their own ideas how to use the resources!

SEND MULTI-SKILLS:
In our multi-skills activities, we focus on the fundamentals of balance, coordination, and agility to help develop skills in throwing and catching, running, jumping, and balance. At PMActive, we understand that for children with additional needs, certain actions may be challenging. Our qualified coaches have the necessary expertise to adapt activities and help these children reach their full potential. We always prioritise fun and enjoyment through short fun games while ensuring that all children are engaged in the activities. It doesn't matter if the child struggles to listen or would rather explore the equipment independently, our coaches are always on hand to offer guidance and ensure safety.
