What to expect 

At PMActive we offer tailored, high-quality tuition for children and young people with SEND, providing accessible learning opportunities that build confidence, skills, and independence.

Our approach is centred on understanding each learner’s individual needs and creating a supportive environment where progress is encouraged and celebrated. We have extensive experience working with young people with ADHD, ASD, PDA, and ODD, ensuring our teaching methods are flexible, empathetic, and responsive to a wide range of learning profiles and behaviours.

We can provide education support in the following areas:

• Primary Tuition

• Functional Skills in English, Maths & Digital Skills (Entry Level 3 to Level 2)

• ASDAN Short Courses

All delivered through face-to-face sessions designed to remove barriers to learning. Our tutors use structured, personalised teaching methods to help learners engage at their own pace, develop core academic abilities, and strengthen essential life skills.

Whether supporting literacy and numeracy at primary level, helping students gain recognised Functional Skills qualifications, or guiding them through ASDAN programmes that build practical and personal development skills, we ensure every session is meaningful, inclusive, and responsive to the young person’s needs.

Our tuition service is particularly suited to young people with SEND or those experiencing difficulties accessing traditional education, such as EBSNA. We also provide flexible support for those receiving EOTAS provision, families choosing Elective Home Education, or learners needing short-term alternative provision to bridge gaps in their education.

By providing calm, focused, and nurturing learning environments, we aim to improve educational engagement, boost self-esteem, and empower learners to achieve their potential both in and beyond the classroom.
